Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pensacola Catholic). They put the hurt on the Charles Page Sandites with a sharp 19-6 victory on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on three straight.

Pensacola Catholic got a massive performance out of Ben Bates, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave Bates a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Collins, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Bates wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Pensacola Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. Pensacola Catholic is a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Pensacola Catholic's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Charles Page, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Pensacola Catholic will head out to face off against Crestview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Charles Page, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ponca City at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
