The Arizona College Prep Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 21 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Coronado with a sharp 62-36 win on Monday. The win was nothing new for Arizona College Prep as they're now sitting on four straight.
Arizona College Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zach Cutler led the charge by scoring 14 points along with six rebounds. Cutler continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Perez, who scored six points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Arizona College Prep's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Coronado, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
