The Craig Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Hydaburg 76-41 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Craig has managed all season.
Brody Bazinet continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Bryant Holloway, who scored 12 points.
The victory (which was Craig's third in a row) raised their record to 3-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Hydaburg, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Craig will stay at home for another game and welcome Metlakatla on February 2nd. Metlakatla has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 262 points over their last four matches. Hydaburg will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hoonah on Wednesday.
