Basketball Game Preview: Eastgate Life Academy vs. White Creek Christian Academy Eagles

Eastgate Life Academy will challenge the White Creek Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastgate Life Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully White Creek Christian Academy likes a good challenge.

Back in December of 2024, Eastgate Life Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 64-60 to Friendship Christian. While losing is never fun, Eastgate Life Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 515th, while Friendship Christian is ranked 197th).

Despite the loss, Eastgate Life Academy got top-tier performance from Nate Harbins, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Harbins' evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. GABE MOODY was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Meanwhile, White Creek Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Georgia Force Christian, falling 93-57. The Eagles were down 75-45 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Eastgate Life Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for White Creek Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
