The High Tech SD Storm will take on the Point Loma Pointers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in High Tech SD's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
Two weeks ago, everything came up roses for High Tech SD against Pinecrest Academy Cadence as the team secured a 59-19 victory. The Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Rafeal Suarez
| 12/23/25 vs Pinecrest Academy Cadence | 60% |
| 12/22/25 vs Westwood | 75% |
| 12/20/25 vs Innovations International | 60% |
High Tech SD's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rafeal Suarez led the charge by putting up eight points along with five rebounds and four steals. Suarez is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Elijah Robinson, who went 5-for-10 en route to 10 points and six boards.
High Tech SD smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Point Loma had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 50-41. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Pointers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Titans are ranked 916th).
High Tech SD better keep an eye on Na'Sean Hardy. He was instrumental in Point Loma's win, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most boards Hardy has posted since back in December of 2024. Leo Ramenofsky was another key player, putting up five points in addition to five assists and three steals.
High Tech SD's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Point Loma, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: High Tech SD has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Point Loma struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
High Tech SD couldn't quite get it done against Point Loma in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 as they fell 69-58. Can the Storm avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
