The Vintage Crushers lost against the Casa Grande Gauchos back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Vintage fell just short of Casa Grande by a score of 3-2.
Vintage's loss dropped their record down to 8-7-3. As for Casa Grande, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vintage will face off against Justin-Siena at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Justin-Siena's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Casa Grande, they will head out on the road to square off against Napa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Casa Grande's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
