Wallowa had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 20-54 punch to the gut against St. Paul on Friday. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Wallowa off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving St. Paul a 1-0 record.
Wallowa will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Powder Valley at 7:00 PM. St. Paul are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Falls City/Kings Valley Charter next week at 7:00 PM.
