The timing is sure in North Raleigh Christian Academy's favor as the team sits on 11 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Charlotte Latin has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
Last Saturday, North Raleigh Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over High Point Christian Academy, taking the game 6-1.

Jackson Tysor was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
Tysor wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Banks Woody, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Latin got the win against Central Academy on Monday by a conclusive 17-3.
Hudson Shoup was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Nick Smith was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Charlotte Latin now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. North Raleigh Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .338. However, it's not like Charlotte Latin struggles in that department as they've averaged .338. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
