Kennedy Columbus was a major factor in Chazy's win over Bolton Central on Wednesday. Columbus was dynamite, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Columbus and Chazy will head out to square off against Crown Point at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since May of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
