Softball Recap: Beau Chene Has No Trouble Against Merryville

After only one run in their last matchup, Beau Chene made sure to put some runs up on the board against Merryville on Saturday. The Gators put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 14-4 victory. Considering the Gators have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Beau Chene's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Merryville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Beau Chene wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-8 defeat against Eunice on the 24th. As for Merryville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 loss against Winnfield on the 22nd.
