The Middletown Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 53-26 loss at the hands of Legacy Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Middletown Christian has scored all season.
Legacy Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrey Stanley out in front who scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals. Stanley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Combs, who scored 11 points along with six steals.
Middletown Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Legacy Christian Academy, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.
Middletown Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Gamble Montessori at 7:00 p.m. Legacy Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Urbana at 7:30 p.m. on January 20th.
