As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tidas has scored all season. Damon Folds was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 11 assists and five rebounds.
Despite the loss, Merritt Island Christian still got an impressive performance from Carter Stevenson, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Willits, who scored eight points.
Morningside Academy's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Merritt Island Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
Morningside Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sagemont at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. Sagemont will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Morningside Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Merritt Island Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
