Leah Buck posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. She struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances.
