The Coffee Trojans lost against the Tift County Blue Devils back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Coffee suffered a rough 52-29 loss at the hands of Tift County. Coffee has struggled against Tift County recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Coffee's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lexie Bradford, who scored seven points.
Coffee's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tift County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Coffee won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Greenbrier at 4:00 p.m. on December 9th. Tift County will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Westover at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Westover has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
