There's no place like home for Hampton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let the Indiana Little Indians get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Thursday. The Talbots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by nine runs or more this season.
The result came thanks to Marissa Snyder's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ashley Schick was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aliza Michielli, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
