Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Almont). They came out on top against the Richmond Blue Devils by a score of 65-58 on Thursday. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 52-50 win the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Almont's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Richmond, their record is now an identical 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Almont will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Branch at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Richmond and All Saints Central will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th.
