It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Rosewood Eagles can now relate to. They took a serious blow against East Bladen on Friday, falling 47-14.
It was another big night for Masion Brooks, who rushed for 163 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Brooks is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played. Na'Toren Corbett was another key contributor, rushing for 144 yards on only 14 carries.
Rosewood's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for East Bladen, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.
Rosewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Bladen will head out on the road to face off against Tarboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tarboro is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
