The McClain Tigers lost to the Hillsboro Indians back in December of 2023, but the McClain Tigers didn't allow the Hillsboro Indians the same satisfaction on Saturday. McClain snuck past the Indians with a 44-38 win.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyra Boyd, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Tylee Davis, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
McClain now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Hillsboro, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McClain will take on the Pioneers at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hillsboro, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Hurricane at 6:45 p.m. on February 7th.
