It was a good run, but the Pawhuska Huskies unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Morrison by a score of 38-36. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pawhuska has scored all season.
Pawhuska lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kambrie Jones, who scored nine points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Maggie Green, who scored ten points.
Pawhuska's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2. As for Morrison, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pawhuska won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Stroud on January 5th. Stroud is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Morrison won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wesleyan Christian on January 5th.
