Meanwhile, Lakota Tech took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 65-35 victory over Alliance. The win was nothing new for the Tatanka as they're now sitting on five straight.

Mahpiya Luta's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.6 points per game. As for Lakota Tech, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Everything came up roses for Mahpiya Luta against Lakota Tech in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 75-27 victory. In that match, Mahpiya Luta amassed a halftime lead of 47-19, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
