Dilley is 1-9 against Cotulla since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Wolves will welcome the Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Dilley's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over San Antonio Memorial. The win was familiar territory for the Wolves, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Izabella Proctor made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2025. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles.
In other batting news, Madelyne Proctor was incredible, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Alyssa Perez was another key player, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Dilley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .600 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Cotulla won against Charlotte on Tuesday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Cowboys beat Cigarroa by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-3.
Like Dilley, Cotulla also got a great game from a two-way player: Christlyn Munoz. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Munoz was also solid in the batter's box, earning two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sareen Ramirez, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Alexandra Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base.
Cotulla's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Dilley, their win bumped their record up to 8-2-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Dilley has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Cotulla struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Dilley might still be hurting after the 18-4 defeat they got from Cotulla in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
