The Hackleburg Panthers pushed their score all the way to 62 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Lynn 66-62. Hackleburg has not had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Lynn got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cale Tittle out in front who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. Tittle is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylen Roberts, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
Hackleburg has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Lynn, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Hackleburg's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Bears at 4:00 p.m. on February 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Alabama (Phillips is ranked 418th, while the Panthers are ranked 399th). As for Lynn, they will face off against the Lions at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
