Adding to the longest winning streak in Kensington Lakes - Central this week, Northville beat Canton 42-30. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Mustangs.
South Lyon East scaled the state rankings by moving to 292 from 360 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cougars climbed the ranks as a result of topping Wayne Memorial 27-8.
Stevenson's dynamic duo of JT McCallion and C.J. Weiss proved to be unstoppable against Churchill, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McCallion threw for 185 yards and 2 touchdowns and Weiss had 113 yards receiving. Devin Kelly helped Stevenson's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 34 yards.
Robert Schneider made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Spartans beat the Chargers. The 6-foot-0 junior racked up 2 sacks.
He went 8-13 with 1 interception.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, South Lyon East's Zac Powers and Wade Morris have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Powers has thrown for 1,338 yards this season, while Morris has 33 catches for 512 yards. Stevenson's Weiss leads the league in rushing yards with 541.
