The Union Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 54-21 loss at the hands of Carbon. Union has not had much luck with Carbon recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carbon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amiah Timothy, who scored 14 points along with 7 steals. The contest was Timothy's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Madison Orth, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Carbon, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Union will head out on the road to face off against Emery at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Emery focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday. As for Carbon, they will face off against Orem at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
