The Satsuma Gators''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 39-13 defeat at the hands of Bayside Academy. Satsuma was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-0.
Bayside Academy found their leader in underclassman Caid Lyons, who rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Teague Broadhead got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Satsuma has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Bayside Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Satsuma will be playing at home against Chickasaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bayside Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Alabama Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alabama Christian Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
