Columbus Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smithville Seminoles.
Columbus Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Smithville,  the  win  got them back to even at 7-7.
 Columbus Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Regents at 6:00  p.m.  on September 8. As for Smithville, they will square off against Hatley at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
