Basketball Recap: Nick Parris' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Indian Creek over Annapolis Area Christian

Indian Creek lost against Annapolis Area Christian back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Indian Creek Eagles took a hard 75-59 fall against the Annapolis Area Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, Indian Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Annapolis Area Christian is ranked 33rd).

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nick Parris, who posted 31 points. The match was Parris' third in a row with at least ten points. Kyle Harvin was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Indian Creek's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Annapolis Area Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Indian Creek and Samuel Fels will round out the year against one another at at 6:45 p.m. on December 28th. As for Annapolis Area Christian, they and St. Albans will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Annapolis Area Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully St. Albans likes a good challenge.
