Unity Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emily King led the charge by scoring nine points along with five steals. King hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Tae Johnson, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Unity Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Oakwood Christian, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.
