Cathedral (Natchez, Miss.).
The Bobcats were up 12-0 at the half after taking the lead on a
Brandon Wells touchdown run in the second quarter.
Bogue Chitto expanded its lead to 18 points entering the fourth quarter. BC's lone score in the quarter came on a passing touchdown.
Germie Martin was the top performer for the Bobcats. The senior wide receiver caught two touchdowns. He has now scored 13 touchdowns on the season.
Bogue Chitto came into the game allowing 6.4 points per game.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Green Wave took, 61-28.
The defeat comes as a step back for Cathedral, which notched a 13-12 victory over Mount Olive in its previous outing. The loss snapped Cathedral's 2-game winning streak.
In a 1A Region 4 game next week Cathedral (4-3) takes on Dexter, and Bogue Chitto (8-0) will go up against Stringer also in a 1A Region 4 game.
