The Heritage Patriots are taking a road trip to face off against the Deer Valley Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
On Tuesday, Heritage was able to grind out a solid win over Freedom, taking the game 3-1.
While Heritage might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Freedom scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 20-25, 25-23.

Heritage relied on the efforts of Cole Fujinaga, who had 20 assists and five digs, and Zackary Che, who had nine digs. Those 20 assists gave Fujinaga a new career-high.
The home team had won the previous five meetings between Deer Valley and Antioch, and Deer Valley kept the tradition alive. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday.
While Deer Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.
Heritage better keep an eye on Matthew Manabat. He was instrumental in Deer Valley's win, getting 15 digs and one assist.
Heritage pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Deer Valley, their record now sits at 20-7.
