South Allegheny put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Sto-Rox Vikings to the tune of  64-14. The Gladiators pushed the score to  64-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Vikings cut but never quite recovered from.
South Allegheny's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Drew Cook led the charge by picking up 128 receiving yards and a pair of  TDs. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 79 yards.  Tyrone Claytor was in the mix  too, providing South Allegheny with two touchdowns.
 South Allegheny was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 220  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 167  rushing yards in three consecutive  matchups.
 South Allegheny's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  seven times.  Derrick Pace was especially locked on to Sto-Rox's QB and sacked him three times.
South Allegheny's record now sits at 9-0. As for Sto-Rox, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Allegheny will host Steel Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Gladiators 9.9, the Ironmen 9.6) so any  points scored will be well earned. As for Sto-Rox, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Waynesburg Central  at 7:00  p.m.
