When it comes to explaining why South Bend Career Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Quincy Bradshaw. Despite the final result, he scored six points along with seven rebounds.
21st Century Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elijah Musaddiq, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Musaddiq has scored all season. Terrence Hayes was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
South Bend Career Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for 21st Century Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Bend Career Academy will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for 21st Century Charter, they will challenge the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
