Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plainfield). They blew past the Rahway Indians 19-6 on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Cardinals with their most commanding win of the season.

Plainfield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Rahway, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Plainfield and Rahway will both be playing Piscataway Vo-Tech the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Cardinals will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
