Orange Cove is a perfect 8-0 against Summit Charter Collegiate Academy since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Orange Cove is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Wonderful College Prep Academy 24-0 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Daisy Regalado was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Danika Del Bosque and Madeline Powers did most of the damage at the plate: Del Bosque went a perfect 4-for-4 with five runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Powers went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five runs gave Del Bosque a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sammie Lopez, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Orange Cove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Summit Charter Collegiate Academy and Orosi, and Orosi kept the tradition alive. The Bears took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals on Tuesday.
Orange Cove's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
