The biggest upset of the week belonged to Talihina, who took down 144th ranked Talihina, 33-6.
Savanna made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,593 from 9,697. The advance stemmed from a 33-6 victory over the Golden Tigers last week.
5-foot-9 quarterback Aaron Busch of Central is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1010. He has also thrown 12 touchdowns. On the ground, Talihina's Clark Austin has rushed for 821 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Trevor Crone. The Talihina star has 30 catches for 572 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Gore takes on Kelly Gravitt's team. As it stands, the Pirates are in third, while the Golden Tigers are in first.
