On Friday Riverside Christian Academy take on Lancaster Christian Academy at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close matchup.
Riverside Christian Academy had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 32-18 win over St. Andrews-Sewanee. Riverside Christian Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of freshman Jake Rubelsky, who passed for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns, and sophomore Crutcher Ezell, who caught passes for 97 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with 9 tackles Ezell was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Lancaster Christian Academy were fully in charge two weeks ago, breezing past Franklin Christian Academy 50-12.
Their wins bumped Lancaster Christian Academy to 2-0 and Riverside Christian Academy to 2-1. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
