The Port Jervis Raiders's four-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-47 win over Beacon. That 50-47 margin sets a new team best for Port Jervis this season.

Boucher scored 18 points along with five assists and five steals, while Dolshun dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Boucher has scored at least 25% of Port Jervis' points.
Port Jervis' win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Beacon, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.
