Meanwhile, Valders came up short against Crivitz on Thursday and fell 8-5.
Megan Hochkammer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Brooke O'Connor, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Valders' defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Wrightstown, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.
Valders' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Wrightstown hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. It's a different story for Valders, though, as they've only averaged .239. Will they be able to contain Wrightstown's hitters?
