Garrett Memorial Christian posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They blew past Columbia Christian 57-17 at home. Garrett Memorial Christian pushed the score to 43-17 by the end of the third, a deficit Columbia Christian had little chance of recovering from.
Garrett Memorial Christian's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Charity Zumwalt, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and five rebounds, and Mikayla Fields, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zumwalt has scored all season. Gracy Martin was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Arkansas Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Garrett Memorial Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.
Arkansas Christian Academy strolled past Garrett Memorial Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 41-22.
