Layton Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Omar Mowafak out in front who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. What's more, Mowafak posted three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Sularski, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 18 points and eight boards.
Coming up, Lone Peak will head out to challenge Pleasant Grove at 8:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Layton Christian Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mt. Zion Prep Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
