Williamsburg Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Gamble Wilson, Michael Ard, and Balder picked up one apiece. Ard has been hot for a while, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last 14 times he's played. Williamsburg Academy received some extra help from Lane Patrick, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Williamsburg Academy, bringing their record up to 11-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points over those games. As for Colleton Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
