Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Jaydon Oliver Delivers Best Performance of Season
Armstrong came up short on Friday despite Jaydon Oliver delivering his best game to date. Oliver rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 278 yards and a touchdown while completing 72% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 63 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
For the season, Oliver has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 176.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 26.3 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 57.9 rushing yards.
