Summertown won the last time they faced Wayne County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 8-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 18 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Summertown's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-5-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Wayne County, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
