Master's Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the St. Cloud Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Master's Academy will be strutting in after a victory while St. Cloud will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Master's Academy was able to grind out a solid win over The First Academy, taking the game 53-46.
Master's Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooklyn O'Gallagher out in front who scored 26 points. The matchup was O'Gallagher's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Maria Newman was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Meanwhile, St. Cloud's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 63-53 to Palm Bay. St. Cloud has not had much luck with Palm Bay recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Their wins bumped Master's Academy to 3-1 and The First Academy to 3-3.
Master's Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against St. Cloud in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, but they still walked away with a 55-51 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was St. Cloud's Eno Inyang, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. Now that she won't be playing on Thursday, will it be that much easier for Master's Academy to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
