Quinton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Arkoma, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Quinton put the hurt on Arkoma with a sharp 9-1 victory on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Savages as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Quinton let Rylan Cate and Moose Few run wild. Cate scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4, while Few went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was Few's first of the season. Mikey Perez was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Quinton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Quinton's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Arkoma, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Quinton will take on Webbers Falls at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arkoma, they will face off against Porum at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
