Blanchester has gone 9-1 against Felicity-Franklin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. Blanchester will be strutting in after a victory while Felicity-Franklin will be coming in after a loss.
Blanchester's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Northwest as they made off with an 11-0 win. Considering the Wildcats have won seven matchups by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Caleb Mobley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Blanchester let Caleb Sears and Sammy Roush run wild. Sears went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Roush went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Mueller, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Felicity-Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to Bethel-Tate.

Felicity-Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Blanchester, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Blanchester has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Felicity-Franklin struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Blanchester took their win against Felicity-Franklin when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 11-2 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
