After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middleton, Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They claimed a resounding 51-20 victory over the KIPP Collegiate phoenix.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova to victory, but perhaps none more so than Derrick Fason, who posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. With that strong performance, Fason is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Alan Valentine was another key player, putting up eight points along with six boards and four blocks.

Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
