Navarre found their leader in freshman Jaleah Jones, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamya Bonham, who put up eight points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.
Pensacola Catholic's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10. As for Navarre, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.
The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Pensacola Catholic will take on North Bay Haven Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Bay Haven Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Pensacola Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. Navarre has already played their next match (against Pace), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
