South Garland's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for McKinney North, their win bumped their record up to 1-4.
South Garland will square off against Newman Smith at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Newman Smith presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than South Garland in Texas (Newman Smith is ranked 567th, while South Garland is ranked 1204th). As for McKinney North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
