The Hickory Christian Academy Knights can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 70-27 victory over University Christian. The victory was just what Hickory Christian Academy needed coming off of a 78-31 loss in their prior matchup.
Levi Robinson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 34 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jamaryon Jones, who scored 16 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Despite the loss, University Christian still got an impressive performance from Peyton Gerken, who scored eight points.
Hickory Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for University Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
Hickory Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Asheville School (Independent) at 7:00 p.m. As for University Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Davidson Day at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Davidson Day's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 contests.
